“Enough” delves into the dark side of consumer culture, focusing on what happens when people are both driven and defined by the perpetual need to possess things. We explore the push of these desires to the extreme: the point at which it leads to an obsession with stealing, exploring the moral conflict that exists within consumerism and probing the most basic of human instincts. This gritty, risk-taking physical dance-theatre piece integrates sinuous, full-bodied movement with rigorously intricate gestures to create a stimulatingly theatrical parable about identity, survival, community, and sustainability. These ideas are explored in ways that comment on and raise questions about what we become when we constantly seek to obtain more property.
