Antonio Mendoza, Artistic Director of Xochipilli Dance Ensemble, started his dance education at the age of 15 under the tutelage of Antoinette Hogan. After moving to Los Ángeles, he furthered his education and training working with different ballet Folklórico groups in the SoCal area. Every year, he goes to Mexico to conduct cultural dance investigations, where he learns different dance styles of Mexican folkloric dance.
This class is part of Spaceworks’ Creative Economic Initiative, which aims to assist someone in earning income from our spaces by providing a low-cost service to the community.Categories
