Emily Anton grew up dancing in Los Angeles, California and received pivotal ballet training from Sylvia Bolton in Southern Oregon.

Emily has danced for the Cornish Dance Theatre, Oakland Ballet Company, Peninsula Ballet Theatre and Winston-Salem Festival Ballet. Much of her career as a freelance performer has been based in New York City dancing as the ballerina for The Ride, a soloist with Ballets with a Twist, and with Dane at Saint Peters. She has enjoyed work around the country including guest artist roles at Stillpoint Ballet and Northern California Ballet.

In addition to personal rehearsals for her many roles in NYC and maintaining her classical ballet technique, Emily uses the Spaceworks studios to rehearse her collaboration with the accomplished classical violist, Brandon Gianetto. Their collaboration together is called the Degas Project. The Degas Project brings classical and contemporary pieces of music to new life with Brandon’s beautifully liquid interpretation of the music and Emily’s original choreography.
